At Newcastle Equine Centre we have 7 full time equine veterinarians and 1 seasonal veterinarian with experience and expertise in equine medicine, surgery, anaesthesia and general ambulatory practice. Our hospital and surgery facilities are located in The Old Tote Building adjacent to Newcastle Racecourse in Broadmeadow. Although we are located in the heart of Newcastle, we travel to much of the surrounding region offering in the field consultations from Murrundi in the Upper Hunter to the Central Coast in the south and from Cessnock in the west over to Taree.
Our hospital facility allows us to offer state of the art diagnostic equipment, intensive care for critically ill horses, ponies and foals and surgical expertise across a wide range of conditions.
We offer this service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
